GREEN VELOURS – FINE ACOUSTIC ROCK
No standards, not what you hear on every corner (or in every pub) – the four musicians from Great Britain and Germany are delectably different from common cover bands. Only songs that they really like to play and enjoy will have a chance to be put on the set list and be presented in their very own Green Velours style. This is what you hear and see, whenever they are on stage.
The impressive voice of lead singer Amanda Porter is in the focus of their individual arrangements. Further noble British art-work is added by guitarist and (background) singer Steve Walker. The groove section with Jens Schaffer on bass guitar and Udo Liebert on cajon or drums represents solid German craftsmanship. It can be assumed that fate and fortune play a role in the fact that those four have met. Musical excitement, harmony and emotion have their match on stage: GREEN VELOURS !!
